Hi,
My name is Kandiss! I have a bachelor's degree in psychology, 4 years experience working in the mental health field, 18 years experience being a mother and sole parent to 3 awesome kids, and a lifetime of experience as a compassionate listener. I was always that friend that people came to for advice, empathy and a safe space to share thier thoughts, it's actually one of the things that had me pursuing a degree in psychology. I realized early on in my education that I had a humanistic view of people, and that ultimately, people, including myself, are looking for genuine connection and a space where they feel safe to be who they are. To sum it up, we all want to be seen and heard!
That's where Compassionate Listening came into the picture. Sometimes we arent looking to fix a problem, or get advice. Sometimes we just want to share experiences and tell our story without judgement. So if this sounds like something you have been missing in your life, book an appointment!
